News Feb/March

I apologise, my efforts at maintaining this little site has been very poor. So here’s a post which will hopefully take care of what’s coming up over the next few months (if anyone reads it).
The first thing I got up to this year was the tracking of my first CD with “HON” (featuring Elliot Galvin, Alam Nathoo, Laura Jurd, Pete Ibbetson). Also involved in the process was Huw Warren as producer, my old college buddy Alex Killpartrick as sound engineer and another RWCMD alumni Sam Barnes doing the running around changing cables. I’m very excited to share this music with the world, we are mixing the CD in the second week of February and there will be more news on how and when it’ll be released (maybe in the next quarterly blog post).

Aside from working on the release of the record and teaching the Ukulele, here are some places I will be performing some original music over the coming months:

8th Feb – Jazz@theSalisbury – Jo Stout Project Terrarium
15th Feb – Sela Bar Leeds – Jonathan Chung/Jay Davis/HVW
5th March – Hackensack Cafe Jazz Cardiff – HON
9th March – The Oxford NW5 – HON
18th March – Dempseys Cardiff – Dave Shulman/Alec Harper/Simon Roth/HVW
19th March – LUME (long white cloud) E2 – Dave Shulman/Alec Harper/Simon Roth/HVW
21st March – Llandudno – Huw Warren/Zoot Warren/HVW
23rd March – The Finsbury N4 – Jo Stout Project Terrarium

  1. Saw on Facebook that Laura Jurd is playing with your group at the Brecon Jazz Festival this August. Have looked up programme but can’t find you. Could you let me know when and where you’ll be on as would love to come and listen.
